OUR SHIPPING POLICY

How It Works

For UK Customers

All orders will be sent 1st class through Royal Mail with delivery confirmation. This service is FREE with all orders.

You should receive your order within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and bank holidays).

You may wish to upgrade your delivery to signed-for, tracked or next-day service. This will be available to select at checkout and charged at their respective rates. Delivery estimates will be shown at checkout.

For International Customers

A flat rate of £4.99 for all orders outside the United Kingdom. Orders will be sent as standard using Royal Mail International Standard and offer no tracking information for customers. You should receive your order within 5-11 business days (excluding weekends and bank holidays).

You may wish to upgrade your delivery to a signed-for or tracked service. This will be available to select at checkout and charged at their respective rates. Delivery estimates will be shown at checkout.

Additional Information

Please note that we are unable to change any delivery service once your order has been marked as dispatched. We are also unable to track untracked delivery services. In order to process a refund for orders not received, a period of 14 business days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) must be left before making a claim. If your order is overdue for delivery, please check in with neighbours or look around the property for anywhere delivery workers may have left your mail.

Also note that whilst we rarely find our orders exceed the recommended delivery timelines, this can occasionally happen. We make no guarantee on timescales for items to arrive within the recommended delivery times as this is dependent on external influences.

WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

Essential Information

Amber & Orange values your satisfaction with our products and customer service. We offer a 12-month warranty from the purchase date for all earrings, covering defects in materials and workmanship. During the warranty period, we will repair or replace any defective earrings. If the same product is not available, we will replace it with an item equivalent to or greater than the original purchase price.

Please note that our warranty does not cover earrings that have been misused, neglected, or modified. If your earrings are found to be ineligible for warranty coverage, you will be required to pay for postage to send the earrings back to us or for repair and return shipping.

If you believe your earrings are eligible for warranty coverage, please contact us with your order confirmation number. We will provide instructions for returning the earrings for evaluation. We will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replaced product back to you, but you will be responsible for shipping the product to us for evaluation.

If your earrings are not covered by our warranty or outside the warranty period, we may still be able to repair them for a fee. Please contact us for more information.

Everything You Need to Know About Keeping Your Earrings Clean, Safe and Hygienic

At Amber & Orange, we are committed to providing our customers with high-quality and safe earrings. We follow all relevant UK legislation related to earring health and hygiene, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Nickel Directive.

To ensure the safety and hygiene of our earrings, we take the following measures:

  1. Material safety: All our earrings are made of materials that are safe for use and comply with UK legislation. We ensure that our earrings do not contain over the permitted levels of harmful substances, such as lead or nickel, that could cause irritation or allergic reactions.

  2. We use 316 Stainless Steel in all our earring posts and scrolls to ensure that your earrings are hypoallergenic and pose as little threat as possible. Whilst we cannot 100% guarantee you will never have a reaction, and decisions to use our jewellery will be at your own risk. 316 Stainless Steel is known to be one of the highest quality stainless steels that minimise reactions to hypersensitivity and reactions to reactants and allergens found in jewellery.

  3. If at any time our earrings cause a reaction, irritation, or allergic response. Please remove the earrings and do not wear them again. If necessary, seek guidance from an appropriate healthcare professional. Please also contact us with your issue, so we can investigate further and see if there is anything we can do in the future to prevent issues from occurring again.

  4. Manufacturing process: We follow strict quality control measures during the manufacturing, finishing, and packaging process to ensure that our earrings are safe and hygienic.

  5. Packaging: Our earrings are packaged in a way that protects them from contamination and damage. We use sealed packaging to prevent any contact with outside pollutants, such as dust and bacteria. If the hygiene seal is broken on arrival, please do not wear the earrings and contact us immediately by email or through our contact form on the website.

  6. Cleaning and maintenance: We recommend that our customers clean their earrings frequently and regularly with a mild soap and warm water solution. We also advise against sharing earrings with others, as this can increase the risk of infection.

  7. When to remove your earrings: Please ensure that you remove your earrings when going swimming, showering, or any other activity that may promote or increase the risk of bacterial infection or irritation to the piercing site.

  8. Returns policy: We do not accept returns of earrings for hygiene reasons unless the earrings are defective or do not comply with UK legislation. This is in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
